2018-19 School Year Dates to Remember:


March 28, 2018
FACTS Payment Agreement forms and Parish Tuition Grant Applications are due and all registration fees for the 2018/2019 school year must be paid in order to be fully registered.

March 31, 2018
Families seeking tuition aid must have completed the FACTS online application.

May 18, 2018
All 2017/2018 delinquent tuition accounts must be paid in full in order to receive report cards.

June 11, 2018
Full payment of tuition must be made in order to receive a 5% tuition discount for 2018/2019.

July 1 or 15, 2018
First monthly payment of tuition for school year 2018/2019 is due.
January 31, 2019
All eighth grade tuition must be paid in full.

Please note this important information from the Finance Office:
Registration and tuition information for the 2018-19 school year will be mailed to every current school family in late February. The registration fee ($125 for each student in grades K-8 or $250 per family) and FACTS form and Parish Grant form (if applicable) should be returned to the school or parish office by March 28. Please note that a registration fee is due every year and is not covered by the EdChoice scholarship.
The second trimester ends February 16. All tuition must be current in order for students to receive their quarterly report cards and for parents to be able to access the online grading system. Any outstanding money due to the school or church must also be paid.

Our Lady of Lourdes (OLL) School works with each family to help make Catholic Education affordable through the use of various scholarships and parish grants such as the:

• Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Grant Program
• Our Lady of Lourdes Tuition Aid Program

Tuition for the 2018-2019 School year  

TUITION:
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Thank you so much for sending your child to Our Lady of Lourdes School. We appreciate the sacrifices you make to give your child a high quality, sustainable, authentically Catholic education. Together we can support, encourage, and help our children develop their gifts and talents to the fullest. We are grateful for all the ways you witness Christ and support our school. Our commitment to you is to work with each family to make our school affordable by offering various scholarships and grants. Please read the following information regarding the tuition for the 2018/19 school year.

In order to register your child for the 2018/19 school year, the parent must:

Complete and return the FACTS Application. In section four please list the names of all children attending our school even if the child receives an EdChoice scholarship. Please write “Ed Choice” next to the child’s name who is receiving that scholarship.

Pay the registration fee of $125/student or $250/family. Please note that the EdChoice scholarship does NOT cover this registration fee. If paying this fee is an issue, please contact Ms. Mary James immediately at 922-0715 ext. 3335.

If applicable, complete and return the Parish Tuition Grant Application included in this mailing.

The FACTS Application, Parish Tuition Grant Application, and registration fee are due by March 28, 2018.

Tuition for the 2018/19 school year will be $5,000/student. Assistance is available from these sources:

Our Lady of Lourdes School accepts Ohio EdChoice which includes the EdChoice Scholarship Program and the EdChoice Expansion Program. Please note that the parent is responsible for the difference between our tuition and the EdChoice scholarship amount received from the state of Ohio.

Our Lady of Lourdes has a Parish Tuition Grant Program. Only parishioners are eligible for this grant as it is based on your participation as a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. This year the Parish Tuition Grant is $1,900/student.

Our Lady of Lourdes uses a need based tuition assistance program. This assistance is open to ALL families, parishioners and non-parishioners. Applications are made on the FACTS website at https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4HJ28). The deadline for applying for financial aid from the parish is March 31, 2018. Please note that if you have already applied for tuition aid on this website, there is no need to apply again. There is a fee for this application.

As in the past, we are using FACTS, an independent company, for managing our tuition accounts. A copy of the Payment Agreement Form with total amount due and monthly payment amount will be returned to each family after review. Please sign the form at the bottom, but do not fill in payment amounts at the bottom right of this form. Your form of tuition payment (checking or savings automatic withdrawal, credit card, or mailed paper invoice) automatically carries over to next year from the previous year. If you would like to change your form of payment or any bank information, you must call FACTS at 1-866-441-4637. We no longer can make those changes at the office. All monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st or 15th of each month. Tuition payments run from July, 2018 through April, 2019. Families who only have an eighth grader must have tuition paid in full by January 31, 2019. Late payments incur a $40 charge. Tuition accounts must be current in order for students to receive quarterly report cards.

An option is available to receive a 5% discount by paying the entire tuition by June 11, 2018. This discount applies to tuition only. To make this form of payment, check the appropriate box on your FACTS Payment Agreement Form. Paid in full payments can be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card. EFT payment transfers from a checking or savings account can NOT be accepted. Please note that a bill will not be sent out for a payment in full unless you call the Parish Office Center to request one.

If your child is not returning to Our Lady of Lourdes, please notify the school or parish office so we can update our list of students.

TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS and GRANTS: Assistance is available from these sources:

Ohio EdChoice Scholarship Program. EdChoice Ohio is available to those new families whose children are coming from Public School that have been in "Academic Emergency" or "Academic Watch" for the past three years, or children who are already participating in the Ohio Ed Choice program. New families must complete the application process for Our Lady of Lourdes School, and the students must first be accepted. Application is then made for these funds from the State of Ohio. This can be done on-line through the Our Lady of Lourdes School Website. Once accepted, a child can receive the voucher every year through Grade 12 provided they continue to meet all criteria. • Our Lady of Lourdes School has a parish grant program.  Applications are available from the parish office, parish@lourdes.org or mjames@lourdes.org

• Ohio EdChoice Expansion Program. Students who are not eligible for the Ohio EdChoice scholarship program may still be eligible for the EdChoice "expansion" scholarship if they meet the following criteria:

1. Student is eligible to enter kindergarten, first grade, second or third grade for fall 2018;
2. Student does not live in the Cleveland Municipal School District; and 
3. Family household income is at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

• Our Lady of Lourdes School uses a need based tuition assistance program. This program utilizes the FACTS system which recommends assistance based upon the financial resources of the student’s household. Application can be made : https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4HJ28
Note that there is a fee for this application. Please refer questions to the parish office, 922-0715.

Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The initial availability of tuition assistance flowing from the One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign through the Catholic Education Foundation began the school year 2017-2018. These funds are available to all students who are attending an Archdiocesan school. For more information, please visit www.catholicbestchoice.org.

TUITION AID ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2018/2019 SCHOOL YEAR NOW BEING ACCEPTED. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS JANUARY 31, 2018. PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE AND READ THE INFORMATION BELOW.


The Archdiocese is starting an exciting new tuition aid program for the 2018/19 school year. The Archdiocese’s One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign designated a significant portion of the funds raised to help families with Catholic School tuition assistance.  Parishioners and non-parishioners are eligible to receive this tuition assistance. Applications are being accepted now. Apply online at the OLL FACTS website https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4HJ28. The Archdiocese will be awarding up to $1,000 per student based on financial need. 

Our Lady of Lourdes will still be giving tuition aid, but only after the Archdiocese distributes their awards.  If you have already applied this fall for tuition aid for a high school student, you do not need to apply again. Our Lady of Lourdes will notify families in early June of awards received from OLL.
