From Carol Greulich:

As Director of Religious Education, Carol is responsible for a number of programs that assist in the faith formation of our children. 

v Our Early Childhood program serves children ages four and five.  We meet on Sunday mornings during the

      10 a.m. Mass in St. Bernadette Hall. 

v Our grade school Religious Education program serves children in grades one through eight who do not attend our parish school.  Students are taught the basics of our Catholic faith and are prepared to receive the sacraments.  Classes meet on Monday evenings from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m.  

v Our high school students meet at that same time but only once a month.

v On Sundays at the 10 a.m. Mass, children have the opportunity to hear the readings proclaimed from the Lectionary for Masses with Children.  This “Liturgy of the Word with Children” helps children understand the Word of God on their level.  

Carol also coordinates the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, and is responsible for assisting our Religion teachers with catechist certification.
