OUR  LADY OF LOURDES KINDERGARTEN

 

 

There have been many new changes to our kindergarten program in the past two years.  These changes have enhanced the Our Lady of Lourdes kindergarten experience and provide a variety of options that are very favorable to parents’ schedules.

 

* Class time has increased to 3.5 hours.

* We have two morning classes that meet from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and are taught by two teachers and two aides.

* Besides instruction in religion, reading, math and science, the children participate in weekly gym, music, library,  

   and computer classes.  Our well-rounded program will prepare your child for a successful first grade experience.

 

KINDERGARTEN ENRICHMENT:

* We offer a separate, optional enrichment program to extend the day to a full-day experience.

* The rate is $10 per day and because it is also considered child care, it is tax deductible. 

* You may choose the number of days per week that you want your child to participate.  (Minimum of two)

* Curriculum will expand on science and social studies topics as well as other kindergarten skills.  It is, also,

   another opportunity for social interaction.

* The children eat lunch with an aide and then go to recess with the primary children.

* This program is taught by Mrs. Barney, who is one of our kindergarten teachers.

 

LATCH KEY:

Your child is also eligible to participate in the Before and After School Program if desired.
