Sister Carla:

We have a vibrant, vital faith-filled community at Our Lady of Lourdes that seeks to further the mission of Jesus through encouragement of involvement of all of its parishioners. This is the best way to become part of us and experience belonging. It is also the best way to get to know the wonderful people who are part of Our Lady of Lourdes.

There are many ways from which parishioners can choose to become involved in the life of the parish. This is a case of “One size does not fit all.” Some of the ways that Sr. Carla helps coordinate are:

·     Bringing communion to the homebound

·     Visiting those in Nursing homes

·     Becoming part of the Bereavement Committee

·     Assisting with Habitat for Humanity

·     Praying with and for the incarcerated

The parish offers many other ways to further the mission of Jesus that may suit you and your God-given gifts. Cleansed and anointed by Baptism, we are called to use our gifts in service of others as Jesus did.
